Before you leave the house
- Bring valid photo ID. There are no exceptions to this.

- Bring the whole box, including what you assume is junk.
- Call ahead if the lot is large so the cash is ready.
Route
The trip from Coral Springs
Getting to us
East on Sample Road or Atlantic Boulevard to Federal Highway, around twenty-four minutes. Sample Road to Federal is the more predictable run; the Sawgrass adds distance without saving much time for this direction.
What that distance means
A planned community usually means a planned sale. Bring the whole lot in one visit, and separate anything held for sentiment before you leave home rather than deciding at the counter, where it is harder to think clearly.
The local picture
Selling gold in Coral Springs
Twenty-eight minutes north-east, and the furthest west of the areas that already send us traffic. Coral Springs is a large, settled residential city with retail concentrated along Sample Road and University Drive, and the buying options follow the western pattern — plaza pawn and chain jewelry rather than dedicated dealers. What is distinctive here is the housing: a lot of long-tenured family homes now turning over, which produces full-estate lots rather than individual pieces, and those are exactly the lots that reward proper sorting.
Selling part of it, and keeping the rest
Downsizing is the usual reason a Coral Springs jewelry box gets emptied, and it is also the reason the leftovers become awkward. A house is being sold, a safe is going with it or not going anywhere, and the pieces nobody is selling need somewhere that is not a moving van. The vault in our building takes that problem off the timeline — the metal is placed before the move, not after it, and the closing date stops being a deadline for decisions that deserve longer.
Florida Intervault is a separate company in the same building, family-run since 1983. Storing anything is entirely optional and nobody at the counter will push you toward it — you are free to sell and go home.
What Coral Springs sellers usually bring

Gold Coins & Bullion
Eagles, Maples, Krugerrands and refiner bars verified while you wait, with anything worth more than melt flagged first.
Explore →
Silver
Bars, rounds, junk coin and sterling flatware tested piece by piece, so a genuine set never leaves valued as plate.
Explore →
Estate & Inherited Metal
Bring the box unsorted. Everything is separated and valued item by item, with a written breakdown for the family.
Explore →
Dental Gold
Crowns and bridges tested for what they actually contain, palladium and silver included, with no cleaning needed first.

Platinum & Palladium
Platinum is easily mistaken for white gold. We test for it specifically and price both metals on their own markets.

FAQ
Common questions
- It is nearly half an hour. Is that reasonable for a house lot?
- For a full estate lot, yes, and it is one trip rather than several. Call ahead with a rough idea of the volume so we can set aside time. For a single item, email photos to info@sygusa.com and we will tell you honestly whether it justifies the drive.
- Should I separate the good pieces from the scrap before coming?
- Please do not. The separation people make at home is based on how something looks, and looks are a poor guide to purity — heavily worn, unfashionable and broken pieces are frequently the ones with the weight. Bring all of it and we will sort it together.
- How far is it from Coral Springs?
- About 24 minutes to our Fort Lauderdale counter, traffic depending. Season adds to that on the coastal roads.
- Do I need an appointment?
- No. Walk in during business hours. If you are bringing a large estate lot, call first so we have the cash and a second tester ready.
- What do I need to bring?
- Valid government-issued photo ID. Florida law requires a dealer to record every purchase and take a copy of your ID, with no exceptions.
- Can I get a number before I drive over?
- Email photos to info@sygusa.com and we will tell you what it looks like and what the range depends on. A real figure still needs the items on the scale.
